The package consists of a tea towel made from production waste and the color of the yarn is created by carefully sorting waste so the yarn does not need to be dyed. The dish soap is made from citrus fruit peels. These peels contain saponin. This is a natural form of soap and is released when the peels are mixed with water. Finally, the package contains a sponge made from coconut fibers. Coconut fibers do not absorb water and are therefore more hygienic. As a result, the sponges last longer. An added bonus is that the sponge is compostable. So if the sponge needs replacement, you can throw it away with the organic waste.
